My internet exile is nearing an end...

Sun Jan 23, 2005, 7:50 AM
Well, after... what? A month? of being denied as much internet access that I ought to be getting, I'm right about ready to get back online and putting up more drawings. I actually have two now that are done and a third that will be done when I'll be able to upload deviations on Tuesday.

Also, where I'm moving is a helluva lot closer to civilization. But, the place is a dump (literally; there's garbage everywhere on the three acres of land,) and I'll be stuck on one phoneline, still with dial-up. No DSL, no cable... and nothing but a phone line that's shared with an internet line.

Very nice gallery you have going here.... Keep up the good work.
Maybe try doing more colored works, or at least airbrushing.

That Leth picture is great. It's powerful, and feels alive. The pose is awesome, it's what really puts the life into the piece, and the perspective isn't off at all. Perhaps a little color would be good for them, it would really make them jump out at you. I'd reccomend something along the lines of pastels, they would compliment your drawing style very well if used properly.

Your username means Cloudy Wolf, by the way. Nothing to do with shadows.

Cloudy Wolf...? D'oh. Ok, I guess it ain't so bad... (...last time I use a damned free online translator...:x)

Thanks for the kind comments, and I will try pastels if I can get my hands on any (or find any, depends on how much I actually packed when I moved from New York to Arkansas.) I'm not sure how long it'll be before I can make something worth being proud of that's in color... "color" and "used properly" usually don't go together when referring to me. :D

"It says 'press any key'... Well, which one's the 'any' key!?"
With any luck, clicking on :gallery: will take you to my gallery.

That's why I said go with the pastels. They're fairly easy to use, and shade very well. A bit messy perhaps, but nothing a little practice won't hurt.

Sorry to hear about the move to Arkansas from New York; I'm a big city fan myself.
